Pearl walked at the side of American Indian Activist, Artist, Author, Actor Russell Means as his wife, business manager and collaborator. From Activism to the Arts, from Indigenous policies to Hollywood she accompanied, organized and managed the affairs of the most influential American Indian of our time.
T.R.E.A.T.Y. Educational Endowment, a 501(c)3, focuses on education through cultural, spiritual, historic, political, and artistic measures that highlights Russell Means’ lifetime devotion to our grandmother the earth and all of her children. It’s current – projects include:
- Developing partnerships for the completion of the “Russell Means Library” in his homeland, the Lakotah Nation.

- Realizing Russell’s Lakotah Language/Culture Program T.R.E.A.T.Y. Overview
- Production and distribution for The Russell Means Story
- Reopening the 1st and only non-government health clinic in Indian Country founded by Russell and the American Indian Movement on the Pine Ridge Sioux Indian Reservation, the poorest county in America.
- A continuing exhibition of Russell’s “Indian Killer Series”, a political/historical series of 12 alleged American heroes portraits and narratives that outline historical truths.
